Anesthesia Options

Our goal is to provide outstanding care before, during, and after your surgical procedure, which means that every detail of your treatment is discussed in depth with you, including your choice of anesthesia. During your consultation with Dr. Barefoot, your anxiety level, medical history, and type of procedure will help determine the right type of anesthesia for your treatment. We also require all members of our staff to maintain CPR certification as an extra measure to bring increased safety to our patients.

As a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Barefoot has many years of hospital-based surgery training. He is skilled in emergency medicine, general surgery, and anesthesiology. Oral surgeons are trained and qualified to safely administer all levels of sedation, including general anesthesia, and our experienced and certified surgical assistants will carefully monitor you during and after your procedure.

Types of Anesthesia

We offer a variety of in-office anesthesia and sedation options to ensure your comfort during surgery. The type you will receive will be determined during your consultation appointment.
